Levi's Mannequins: Wearing White for Equality

Good on Levi's!

Levi's have begun tying White Knots around their mannequins in 20 of its stores in big cities like San Francisco, NY, LA, and Chicago.

In case you don't know, the White Knot is a new symbol of marriage equality created by Frank Voci. You may have seen several stars at the recent Academy Awards wearing the White Knot. For more info about the project check out their website.

Levi's use of the White Knot is especially timely due to the recent poor ruling from the California Supreme Court upholding inequality in the State's constitution in the form of Prop 8.

It's great to see a quality brand from a company that has existed since the 1850s doing its part to support equality for all.

Now you know where to buy your next pair of jeans!

If there is a store near you take pictures of the mannequins and send them to spenditright@gmail.com along with the location of the store. We'll post them here on the blog!
